PRIZE PROMOTIONS AND COMPETITIONS PRIVACY NOTICE
This Privacy Notice explains what personal data (information) we will hold about you, how we collect it and how we will use it when you participate in our competitions or prize promotions.
1. Who collects information about you?Amazon Digital UK Limited (Amazon) is the ‘data controller’. This means that Amazon is responsible for deciding how it holds and uses certain information about you. Amazon is an English company with registered company number 06528297 and whose registered office is at 1 Principal Place, Worship Street, London, EC2A 2FA. Little Dot Studios Limited (LDS) (company number 08419628 with an operating office at Level 3, The Old Truman Brewery, 91 Brick Lane, London E1 6QL) is the ‘data processor’ who Amazon may share your information in accordance with this privacy policy to administer the competition or prize promotion.

2. What information do we collect about you?When you participate in one of Amazon’s competitions or prize promotions, you provide certain information to LDS and Amazon as part of your entry and any subsequent correspondence. This could be your name, age, place of residence, your email address, your social media handles and any other information contained in your entry or correspondence with Amazon and LDS that identifies you.
3. How do we use your information?Amazon and LDS may process your information for the purpose of administering the competition or prize promotion, which may include:
- recording your entry;
- contacting you regarding your entry;
- administering any prizes;
- maintaining appropriate business records during and after your participation in a competition or prize promotion; and
- complying with legal and regulatory obligations, including making your information available to the public and Advertising Standards Authority.
Legal basis for processing: Contract: To administer your participation in the competition or prize promotion, to comply with the competition or prize promotion terms and conditions and to comply with legal obligations in respect of administering the competition or prize promotion.
4. Who will Amazon and LDS share my information with?Amazon and LDS may share your information within their groups and suppliers working and administering the competition or prize promotion.
Specific circumstances in which your information may be disclosed may include:
- disclosure of your information to relevant regulators or members of the public as part of a formal request;
- disclosure of your information to third parties to administer, process and deliver a prize; and
- disclosure of your information to Amazon and/or LDS suppliers to administer the competitions and prize promotions;
- disclosure with regulatory authorities if so required.
Your information and participation in the competition or prize promotion may also be collected by social media platforms, which may include Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn and WhatsApp. These platforms will have access to information that you provide to Amazon and LDS and their processing of your information will be subject to the privacy policies of such platforms.
5. Transfers of information outside the UK/EEAIn connection with our business and for administrative, management, and legal purposes, Amazon and LDS may transfer your information outside the UK/EEA to members of our group and data processors in other jurisdictions. Whenever a transfer of your information extends outside the UK, Amazon and LDS shall ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to you in the UK by ensuring appropriate safeguards are implemented. 6. Keeping your personal information secureAmazon and LDS have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your information from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, access is limited to your information to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need-to-know.
Amazon and LDS have also put in place procedures to deal with any suspected data security breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected data security breach where we are legally required to do so.
7. How long with you keep my information for?Amazon and LDS will keep the information we obtain about you for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed. In general, we will keep your information until the competition or prize promotion has been completed and for a reasonable period afterwards or as required by law. In considering how long to keep it, we will take into account its relevance to our business either as a record or in the event of a legal claim.
8. Your rightsUnder certain circumstances, by law you have the right to:
- Request access to your personal information (commonly known as a data subject access request). This enables you to receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it.
- Request correction of the personal information that we hold about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate information we hold about you corrected.
- Request erasure of your personal information. This enables you to ask us to delete or remove personal information where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it. You also have the right to ask us to delete or remove your personal information where you have exercised your right to object to processing (see below).
- Object to processing of your personal information where we are relying on a legitimate interest (or those of a third party) and there is something about your particular situation which makes you want to object to processing on this ground. We will then no longer process this personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing. These must override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing must serve the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims. request the restriction of processing of your personal information. This enables you to ask us to suspend the processing of personal information about you, for example if you want us to establish its accuracy or the reason for processing it. If you want to review, verify, correct or request erasure of your personal information, object to the processing of your personal data, or request that we restrict processing your personal information, please contact notices@littledotstudios.com.
- Revoke consent to the processing of your data at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation. To withdraw your consent, you can simply contact notices@littledotstudios.com.

However, we encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to be informed of how we use your personal information.
