The 360 Sound Experiment
CHALLENGE For the launch of their game-changing new speaker range Samsung wanted to find a way to convey the unique nature of 360 sound to a tech savvy audience of audiophiles through YouTube.
SOLUTION: Working with Cheil, Little Dot Studios commissioned Artisan/United Visual Artists to create a sound reactive installation that picked up audio from the speaker in real-time and turned it into beautiful, eye-catching visual patterns – allowing viewers to see the full effect of 360 sound. The film was set to an original music score created especially for the project by composer Aidan Lavelle.
RESULTS: The video beat all client KPIs and reached over 2m views on YouTube within eight weeks, as well as driving significant press, PR and social media attention for the new product range across multiple markets.
